About Gail
I’ve lived in Northwest Indiana all my life and am a Crown Point resident. I’m a mother of two, have one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. Since everyone lives a distance away, I’m always up for a trip to visit and spoil them. I’m an Indiana State University graduate with a degree in Business Administration.
After college, I worked at Purdue Calumet as the Assistant Bursar and Bursar. Once my kids were in school, I worked in the Crown Point Schools as an elementary school tutor, then as the high school treasurer. Prior to retirement, I was the administrative assistant to the CFO at Merrillville Schools
Once retired, I wanted to find a place to volunteer that spoke to my heart. Community Help Network ended up being that place. CHN is somewhere I can contribute and help a child who may not have the same family resources as the child in the desk next to them. It’s a privilege to serve alongside the wonderful volunteers at CHN who care about and serve the children and families in our community.
