About Eden
I have 4 children in the Crown Point School system. I have 10 brothers and sisters (fun fact). I worked with students from the Chicago Public Schools and saw firsthand children in need of food during the school day. I was thrilled to start the Breakfast Program with a grant received from Illinois State Board of Education. The students were able to not only focus better, but the attendance increased! I believe, children have enough to deal with, worrying about where their next meal comes from, shouldn’t be one of them.
